what can I say, one of the quintessential linux... things. And my personal favourite of the *fetch's. I know there was some controversy about fastfetch displaying your IP, and I just right now checked and it only shows local ip (?), and even if you dont want it you can just edit the config file. But on the other hand, some people dont give a fuck about configuring their system and just want a simple lightweight privacy respecting OS, and thats fine.
